Posty of Looney Tunes ~ That's all
This is famous character from Looney Tunes, called Sylvester the Cat. Thank you to Barbara from Switzerland who sent this to me, it is very cute card.
His brief is here, Sylvester J. Pussycat, Sr., or simply, Sylvester the Cat, or Sylvester, or Puddy Tat (as in I tawt I taw a puddy tat, a sentence often repeated by his arch-nemesis Tweety Bird) or gringo pussy-gato (a sobriquet attached by another antagonist, Speedy Gonzales), is a fictional character, a three-time Academy Award-winning anthropomorphic tuxedo cat in the Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies repertory, often chasing Tweety Bird, Speedy Gonzales, or Hippety Hopper. The name "Sylvester" is a play on felis silvestris, the scientific name for the wild cat species (domestic cats like Sylvester, though, are actually felis catus). The character debuted in Friz Freleng's Life With Feathers (1945). Freleng's 1947 cartoon Tweetie Pie was the first pairing of Tweety with Sylvester, and the Bob Clampett-directed Kitty Kornered (1946) was Sylvester's first pairing with Porky Pig. Sylvester appeared in 96 cartoons in the golden age.
Sylvester was #33 on TV Guide's list of top 50 best cartoon characters, together with Tweety

Posty of Krems-Stein Austria
Remains of the town wall are popular, but the biggest attraction in Krems is the town's late-Gothic Piarist Churce. The steiner Tor, erected in 1480, is the only remaining medieval gate.

Posty of Mechelen ~ Belgium
The landmark of Mechelen is the huge St. Rumbold's tower (in Dutch : St. Romboutstoren). This impressive late-medieval tower can be seen from far away. Standing close to the tower it is immediately clear that the tower was designed to become very high. The construction was stopped in the 16th century because the town of Mechelen had financial problems.

Posty of Children in Dutch Costume
The most famous part of the Dutch costume is the wooden shoes. In the past, leather shoes were a luxury that only the rich could afford. These days, 3 million pairs of clogs are still produced in Holland annually. Nowadays, clogs are mostly worn in the countryside, as they are warmer and dryer than rubber boots.
You can tell where people came from by the shape and look of the clogs. Not too long ago clogs were approved for industrial use by European Community regulations, something Dutch farmers have known for centuries of course! Wooden shoes are therefore not only abundant in souvenir shops, but are also still worn by many farmers and bulb growers as cheap, long-lasting and save working shoes.
Thank to Rickster, who sent this so cute one to me with absolutely stunning handwriting.
