I got this from Taiwan on July 09, 2009 with nothing written on it. It is beautiful card and in this OX year. I decided to stop (temporary) eating beef to respect the OX. Hope it brings good luck to myself. :)

Posty of Town of Gold Mining - Jinguashi (Kingaseki)

This was written at the back of the card.

In the vicinity of Jiuufen, Jinguasi is a gold and copper mining town embraced by mountains in three directions. Facing the unique two-colored sea along the northern coast, the scenery is tranquil and exquisite. Now the Gold Ecological Park preserves the old mining area.

Mt. Hsueh or Snow Mountain is located on the boundary between Miaoli and Taichung. It is Taiwan’s second highest peak, The tall mountain with an altitude of 3,886 meters is second only to the Jade Mountain in height.
