Posty of Children in Dutch Costume
This is really cute, children in Dutch Costume. The symbol of Dutch are both cap and wooden shoes. The most famous part of the Dutch costume is the wooden shoes. In the past, leather shoes were a luxury that only the rich could afford. These days, 3 million pairs of clogs are still produced in Holland annually. Nowadays, clogs are mostly worn in the countryside, as they are warmer and dryer than rubber boots.
You can tell where people came from by the shape and look of the clogs. Not too long ago clogs were approved for industrial use by European Community regulations, something Dutch farmers have known for centuries of course! Wooden shoes are therefore not only abundant in souvenir shops, but are also still worn by many farmers and bulb growers as cheap, long-lasting and save working shoes.
Thank to Rickster, who sent this so cute one to me with absolutely stunning handwriting.

Posty of Amsterdam ~ Brouwersgracht
I got this card from ellenniek since May 04, 2009, thank you very much. It is another beautiful card from Holland, and I love this country very much.
Amsterdam is known for its canals and why not—it boasts of around 165 of them! Brouwersgracht is no different from the others. Come here to take in the city's charm. The streets, lined with bicycles, give you a sense of nostalgia. You can shop at the numerous stores, and follow it with feasting at one of the cafés

Posty of Tulip & Windmill
This postcard really presents significantly both of Holland's symbol i.e. Tulip and Windmill. When I was a kid, I thought the windmill was only beautiful, but later I learned that a windmill is a machine that is powered by the energy of the wind.
More info about Windmill is here, and thank you to Andrea who sent this extra long postcard to me. This should be call panorama postcard with length of 25 cm.
